My Story

I am a senior student at Oregon State University, finishing a Bachelor of Science majoring in nutrition with a minor in public health, and upon completion of a dietetic internship with OSU, will become a Registered Dietitian (RD/ RDN).

My own life-long journey as a person with chronic illness and pain brought me to the healing waters of nutrition knowledge and a positive food relationship.

I believe in a holistic structure of health management that brings together any health and wellness strategy or modality that works for you. I am a proponent of intuitive eating and the Health At Any Size model of nutrition. My mission is to help you build a base for understanding nutrition and guide you towards your health goals.

Values

A Holistic Approach

My education and counseling centers around nutrition, but I have also personally benefited from alternative, complementary, traditional Chinese, and western medicine. I will work alongside your team of other healthcare practitioners to help you achieve your best health.

Promoting Racial Equity

It is vital that everyone has access to a dietitian that can understand their social and cultural background and needs. Currently there is a glaring lack of dietitians of color in the US, so it is important to center and recognize dietitians of color at any opportunity. If you are BIPOC and are seeking a BIPOC  dietitian, please do not hesitate to reach out to me for a referral.

Prioritize Individualized Care

I believe in seeking the best care for every individual, and will always tailor my nutrition recommendations to your unique needs and lifestyle goals. As a white woman (she/her) I know that I will not always be the best practitioner for everyone, for this reason I will maintain a network of practitioners that I trust with your care and will refer you to.
